'Pneuma' is one of the more recognized images from recent years: the artwork was released as a fine art print and was also used as officially commissioned tour art by the band Nine Inch Nails. When originally released years ago, these editions sold out instantly.
STARDREAM OPAL Variant - Printed masterfully by the crew at Lady Lazarus Press, this piece is printed with rich inks (including a semi-metallic) on Stardream Opal stock with a semi-metallic finish. The print features rich inks, including a striking gold metallic. Each print is signed and numbered out of an edition of only 30 pieces, and is hand-embossed with the Jermaine Rogers / Dero72 logo mark.
Regarding the imagery, Jermaine adds:
We have a handful of copies which were pulled for the studio files available. From a very limited edition of only 30 pieces.
‘From the time we come crawling out of our maternal incubators, the raw and true inner self is smothered. We are molded, prodded, branded, and manipulated. The process can result in an outer shell of spirit that doesn’t resemble the raw pneuma at all. In some cases, it can take a long time to extricate yourself from yourself.’
